Marcy and I come from South Dakota by way of Dubuque Iowa, where I am getting my Master’s degree at Wartburg Seminary. We are so glad to have the opportunity to “be the church” with you and look forward to what this year will bring. In the meantime, if you are interested in Ping-Pong, talking philosophy, or sharing poetry, please find me!
“ALL ARE WELCOME”
This is the theme for St. John’s this school year. Here Sunday School students are learning sign language to welcome non-hearing friends. We will continue learning how we can love and embrace ALL of our neighbors as fellow children of God. We do not need to worry about the color of skin, the sexual orientation preference, the wheelchair, the lisp, the different mental capabilities, or the other physical differences that we can see. ALL are loved by God and ALL are to be respected and loved by us as we are learning to be disciples of God. Come and join us, ALL ARE WELCOME!
